Black Pepper Oleoresinsal Botanical name of the oleoresin is Piper nigrum. Black pepper oleoresins is obtained from solvent extraction method of dried berries of peppercorns fruits of pepper plant. The oleoresin is highly viscous and if crushed yields 1 to 2.5 percent of volatile oil containing tarpenes. The oleoresin is used extensively in flavouring and perfumery industry.
