Castor Carrier Oil Botanical name of the oil is Ricinus communis. Castor carrier oil is an edible vegetable oil which is prepared from castor seeds obtained from castor seeds obtained from castor bean plant. The oil stimulates hair growth and controls hair loss. The oil is also called as soulflower castor oil and the palm of Christ. The oil is safely used in aromatherapy. The castor bean plant grows in tropical climate.
