Cedar Wood Hydrosol Botanical name of this hydrosol is cedrus deodara. Other names of this hydrosol are floral waters, hydroflorates, flower water, essential water and herbal water. Cedar wood hydrosol are produced by distillation of flower material. It is believed that this hydrosol cures skin problems. It is used to treat arthritis, skin rashes and kidney infections. Some people used in mummification and cosmetics. Insects hate the smell of cedarwood thatswhy it is used as insect repellent.
