US FDA Certified Organic Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil Botanical name of the oil is cinnamomum zeylanicum. It is steam distilled from the leaves of cinnamon plant. A middle note of medium aroma it has warm spicy scent between that of clove and cinnamon, but with herbaceous notes that are not sweet. It originates in Sri Lanka. It is mostly used for external purposes only.
