Certified Organic Star Anise Essential Oil Botanical name of this oil is Illicum Verum Hook. Primarily the oil is native of china and vietnam but it is also grown in Japan. The fruits and seeds are picked unripe and naturally dried till they turn brown. The oil hence obtained is either colorless and pale yellow to look at and emits a rich and sweet aroma. The brown turned fruits and seeds of illicum verum hook plant are first steam distilled to yield pure star anise organic essential oil for us. The oil is widely us, ed in cooking and baking purposes.
