Galbanum Essential Oil Botanical name of the oil is Ferula galbaniflua. Galbanum is a gum which is usually obtained from Ferula plant and to obtain gum from it several cuts are being made near the roots of the plant. The oil which is obtained from it is thick and yellow in color. The oil is mainly used in curing skin ulcers in the human body.
