Ginger Grass Essential Oil Botanical name of the oil is cymbopogan martini var sofia. The oil also has another name which is Andropogen ahoenathus. The oil is extracted from steam distillation of ginger grass. The oil is used to improve immune system, treat viral infections of the intestine, vaginitis and urethritis.
