Guaiacwood Essential Oil Botanical name of the oil is Bulnesia Sarmientoi Lorentz Ex Griseb. The oil is also known as champaca wood oil, bulnesiamientoi oil and guaiacum sanctum gum. The oil is extracted from the sawdust and wood of the palosanto tree. The oil is used in making cosmetic products and various medicines. Besides this it is also used in manufacture of soaps, various creams and detergent powder.
