Neroli Essential Oil Botanical name of the oil is Citrus aurantium. The oil is extracted from steam distillation of blossom of bitter oranges. Other names of the oil are orange flower oil or neroli bigrade. The oil is a well known oil in Ayurveda and it is believed that the name Neroli is taken from Sanskrit word Nagaranj. The oil gives strength to the mind and confidence in once personality. The oil also has relaxing properties so it helps in treating sleeplessness.
