Nutmeg Oleoresins Botanical name of this oleoresin is Myristica Fragrans. Nutmeg oleoresins are made from freshly dried nuts of nutmeg. It’s densely covered by foliages and slight yellow collared flower blossom on Nutmeg tree. Dried seeds of nutmeg or Myristica fragrans Houtt are processed under solvent distillation and as a result oleoresins of nutmeg are obtained. It is soluble in some fixed oils only and also has pleasing aroma with slight warm taste sensation.
