Onion Essential Oil Botanical name of the oil is Allium Cepa h. The oil is obtained from steam distillation of bulb which grows above roots of onion. These onion bulbs are crushed to extract onion oil from the plant. The oil is considered having strong unpleasant odor but the oil is having great medicinal values.  The oil is considered helpful in treating patients suffering from high blood pressure.
