Palmarosa Essential Oil Botanical name of the oil is Cymbopogon martini. The oil is extracted from the Palmarosa or Indian Rosa which is wild grass having grass looking leaves and it bears flowers. The leaves of Palmarosa smell like rose tahtswh the name of this plant is kept Palmarosa. The oil is extracted from dried grass which is plucked before coming of flower and is dried for 1 week before oil extraction. Because of the enhancing fragrance of this oil it is used in making many bathing accessories and perfumes.

Basil, bergamot, cedarwood atlas and virginian, frankincense, geranium, lavender, linaloe wood, lemon, mandarin, neroli, orange, pine, rose and ylang ylang.
