Sesame Seed Carrier Oil Botanical name of the oil is Sesamum indicum. Commonly the oil is also known and Til oil or Gingelly oil. The oil is an edible vegetable oil and it is extracted from sesame seeds through cold pressing or hot pressing. Besides using for cooking the oil is also applied for cosmetic purpose and for keeping skin healthy. The oil is rich in Vitamin E and thus it is useful as natural sunscreen lotion.
