Ylang Ylang Essential Oil Botanical name of the oil is Cananga odorata. The Essential oil of Ylang Ylang is extracted from steam distillation of fresh flowers of Ylang Ylang tree. The tree is a native of Asian and Pacific Islands like Indonesia, Philippines, Java, Sumatra and Polynesia. Being used in making perfumes and widely used in aromatherapy because of its very pleasing and delicate fragrance. The oil is also being used in a variety of medicines.
